EDA algorithms labeled XDAIS have passed testing for interoperability and meet standards specified by Texas Instruments for its DSP platforms.  EDA can provide porting services for these algorithms in either C or as optimized assembly implementations.  Other algorithms may require further development to make them compliant or to accommodate them to a customer's design requirements.

EDA has been developing custom electronic designs for over 25 years. Most recently, we have focused on digital signal processing and implemented sophisticated audio, video, and imaging applications. Our design capabilities have migrated from earlier discrete TTL designs to custom chip and microprocessor based systems, evolving more recently to ASIC and combination ASIC & FPGA programmable designs.

32 Channel Digital-Analog Audio Processing Unit (KATIPO)

Description:  High end multi channel digital audio record/playback system.  Uses PC hard disk to store multi track audio data.  Offers 24bit data and up to 96kHz sampling rates.

Example

Description:  ISA bus based combination audio/modem board that served as reference design for Rockwell/Conexant modems featuring 16 bit stereo record & playback of Wave files as well as MIDI synthesis.
Technology:  OPTi/MediaChips 82C930 multimedia audio controller, RCV144ACi/SP modem chipset, completely software configurable in MS-DOS

Combo Caller ID & DTAD Board

Description:  Analog Telephone Module with Caller ID.
Technology:  This module contains the electronics and an LCD display and may be incorporated into plastics to provide a standalone analog telephone with Caller ID type I and type II.  The electronics module is based on surface mount passive and active devices and on a single 2 layer circuit board.  The power supply is based on a wall mounted transformer.

Caller ID Module

Description:  This module is for an adjunct Caller ID type I and type II application.  It is similar to the above module but does not support the full telephone (handset) application.

PC Karaoke

Fully Available

Description:  High volume software Karaoke machine.
Technology:  EDA has a design for a Karaoke "machine" based on using a PC and a standard sound card.  Royalty free MIDI songs can be downloaded over the Internet and are not subject to copyright issues.  There are a number of third party software interfaces that may be used.  The product features reverb that adds high-end capability not available on very low cost standalone solutions.  The PC CRT is used as the Karaoke screen.
